Edeltraud Rogée (born April 7, 1954 in Wanzleben ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Life

After graduating from the Polytechnic High School in 1970, Edeltraud Rogée trained as a specialist saleswoman until 1972. In 1979 she completed her technical college degree as an economist for domestic trade and in 1982 she graduated as a social scientist . Between 1972 and 1979 Rogée was a specialist salesperson at HO Goods for Daily Needs (WtB). From 1979 to 1982 he studied at the trade union college .

From 1982 to 1989 she was district chairman of the trade union for trade, food and enjoyment (HNG) in Magdeburg (North) and from 1989 to 1990 district chairwoman of the union HNG district of Magdeburg . In 1990 Edeltraud Rogée was second chairwoman of the HBV trade union in the GDR and, between 1990 and July 2001, the state chairwoman of the HBV trade union in Saxony-Anhalt. From 2001 to 2007 she was the deputy regional manager of the Verdi union in Saxony-Anhalt.

Rogée is non-denominational, divorced and has one child.

politics

Edeltraud Rogée joined Die Linkspartei.PDS in 2005 . Since June 2009 she has been a councilor of the Left Party in Magdeburg .

Since 2007, Rogée has been the spokesperson for the “Company and Trade Union” working group of Die Linke in Saxony-Anhalt. She is also a district board member of the party in the district of Jerichower Land .

In April 1998 Rogée entered the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt via the state list, to which she has been a member since the third electoral term. There she is a member of the Eleventh Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (Garbage), the Committee on Economy and Labor and the Council of Elders.
