Edgar Richard Behr (born September 12, 1910 in Hamburg ; † March 2, 1985 ibid) was a German regatta sailor .

At the Olympic Games in 1932 , Behr competed in the Snowbird regatta and took fourth place. In the ninth race of the regatta he was disqualified for allegedly touching a buoy, but Behr denied this. As the only German sailor without official support, however, he hardly had a chance to take action against the judgment. Otherwise, he would likely have won the bronze medal.

Behr was a member of the Alster Pirate Club , which was founded in Hamburg in 1898 and one of the oldest German sailing clubs. Edgar Behr was the son of the entrepreneur Richard Behr , who had founded a company to manufacture and import feathers and down. Edgar Behr took over this after the Second World War.
