Channa Ediri Bandanage (born September 22, 1978 ) is a Sri Lankan soccer player who plays for Ratnam SC Colombo and in the Sri Lankan national soccer team in attack .

society

With his club Ratnam SC, he took part in the AFC President's Cup in 2007 and was the top scorer of the tournament with six goals. In 2008 he was also one of the successful goal scorers in the same tournament when he defeated the opposing goalkeeper three times in the game against Transport United from Bhutan. Channa Ediri Bandanage has been part of the Maldives- based Maaziya Malé association since 2009 .

National team

At the 2009 South Asian Cup , he was one of the most successful goal scorers of the tournament with four goals scored, along with Emanul Haque Sharif and Ahmed Thariq . He met, among other things, twice in the game against Bhutan, which Sri Lanka could decide 6-0 in his favor. At the same tournament a year earlier , he was able to immortalize himself in the statistics as a goalscorer when he scored in a 2-2 draw against Afghanistan. He was also part of the Sri Lankan squad at the 2008 AFC Challenge Cup . A total of 55 international appearances were recorded for him between 2000 and 2009. He scored twelve hits.
