Edith Stocking

Edith Strumpf (born July 30, 1938 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a Hessian politician ( FDP ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After completing secondary school, Strumpf did a commercial apprenticeship and worked for a bank. She later worked in the corporate communications department at Fraport (formerly FAG) and has been retired since 1998. Stocking is married and has two daughters.

politics

Strumpf has been a member of the FDP since 1968 and was Frankfurt district chairman there from 1981. Edith Strumpf moved on December 15, 1978 for Dr. Werner Brans joined the Hessian state parliament and resigned on November 30, 1982.

Other offices

Strumpf is a long-time member of the broadcasting council of the Hessischer Rundfunk . She was a member of this committee from 1985 to 1996 and from 1999 to 2004 as a representative of the women's organizations of the State of Hesse. Between 1987 and 1994 she was Deputy Chairwoman of the Broadcasting Council, from November 1994 to the end of 1996 and from 2001 to 2004 Chairwoman. She has been a member of the HR Board of Directors since January 1, 2005.

Honors

Edith Strumpf received the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon in 1992 and the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class in 2005.
