Edith Wangenheim (born March 25, 1947 in Blockwinkel , Diepholz district ) is a Bremen politician ( SPD ). She was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

After completing elementary school, she completed an apprenticeship as a pharmacy assistant from 1962 to 1964 and worked as such until 1977. Between 1977 and 1988 she was a housewife. from 1988 onwards she headed a senior citizen meeting place. In 1993 Edith Wangenheim became coordinator for meeting places at the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO) Bremen. Since 2000 she has been the coordinator of the AWO Bremen volunteering initiative.

She joined the SPD in 1976. From 1988 to 1991 Edith Wangenheim was a member of the advisory board at the Neustadt / Woltmershausen local office . In 1992 she became the local chair of her party in Woltmershausen . on July 15, 1994 she became a member of the Bremen Citizenship. After the general election on May 13, 2007, she left the citizenry. There she was most recently represented in the Petitions Committee , in the Committee for Port Affairs in the State of Bremen, in the Works Committee KiTa Bremen, Werkstatt Bremen, in the Youth Welfare Committee, in the State Youth Welfare Committee, as well as in the deputations for social affairs, youth, senior citizens and foreigners integration as well as for education.
