Edition and Gallery Hundertmark

The Edition and Gallery Hundertmark (until 2002 Edition Hundertmark ) is a German publisher for artist books and art objects .

Publishing work

The edition was founded in 1970 by Armin Hundertmark (* 1948 in Berlin). The publishing house was initially in Berlin. Works by Fluxus artists , the Viennese Actionists and Concrete Poetry have been published .

The first edited artists included Joseph Beuys , Günter Brus , Robert Filliou , Ludwig Gosewitz , Milan Knížák , Otto Muehl , Hermann Nitsch , Arnulf Rainer , Tomas Schmit , Ben Vautier and Emmett Williams . Tape cassettes, CDs and multiples by these and other artists have appeared. Most of the artists have also shown exhibitions in the attached gallery. The trademarks were the editions in art boxes, the cardboard boxes , which today already have considerable collector value.

In 1976 Hundertmark founded the literary and art magazine " Ausgabe ". Sound carriers are sold under the label ? Records .

In 1979 the company moved to Cologne. In 1980 a touring exhibition of the edition for the 10th anniversary was on view in various art associations and museums. In 1995 an exhibition was held in the Cologne City Museum to mark the 25th anniversary of Edition Hundertmark. In 2003 the edition moved to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria , from where it is still active today.

Hundertmark regularly took part with stands at the Frankfurt Book Fair , Art Basel , Art Cologne , Art Frankfurt and other art fairs.
