Edmond Grandjean
Edmond Georges Grandjean (born May 21, 1844 in Paris ; † June 1, 1908 there ) was a French vedute and animal painter.
Grandjean studied at the École des beaux-arts de Paris with Adolphe Yvon , Émile Signol and Isidore Pils . He painted almost exclusively horses and riders as well as Parisian street views and exhibited his works from 1865 to 1906 at the Salon of the Société des Artistes Français . He received a third class medal in 1888 and a second class medal in 1898. At the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900 he received an honorable mention.
