Edmond Hervé
Edmond Hervé (born December 3, 1942 in La Bouillie , Côtes-d'Armor ) is a French politician and member of the Parti socialiste français .
From 1977 to 2008 he was the mayor of Rennes . He succeeded Henri Fréville . From 1981 to 1993 and 1997 to 2002, Hervé was a member of the French National Assembly and, under Pierre Mauroy , Health Minister from May to June 1981 and Energy Minister from June 1981 to March 1983, and State Secretary in the Ministry of Health under Laurent Fabius from March 1983 to March 1986 . Since September 2008 he has been the Senator of the Ille-et-Vilaine department .
