history
Remains from the Gallo-Roman period show an early human presence. But it was not until 1160 that today's location emerged from the darkness of history in a document. A chapel of the crusaders (Johanniter) is mentioned. The parish itself has certainly existed since 1256, when a place La Bollie is mentioned in a will of a knight. The municipality belonged to the Dinan district and the Hénanbihen canton from 1793 to 1801. It has been part of the Dinan arrondissement since 1801. And from 1801 to 2015 it was a municipality in the canton of Matignon .
