Caurel ( Breton Kaorel ) is a French municipality with 360 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Brieuc and the canton of Mûr-de-Bretagne . The inhabitants are called Caurellois (es) .

Caurel is located about 38 kilometers southwest of Saint-Brieuc on the southern border of the Côtes-d'Armor department.
