Plémet is a French commune with 3,649 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Brieuc and the canton of Loudéac .

It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle by merging the former municipalities of Plémet and La Ferrière , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Plémet.

The commune, initially called Les Moulins , changed its name to the current name Plémet with the decree N ° 2017-1744 of December 22, 2017 . It became a Commune nouvelle with the same name as the previous congregation.
