Frédéric Marie Blessing OSC (born December 7, 1886 in Amsterdam , Netherlands ; † August 17, 1962 ) was a Dutch religious and Roman Catholic Vicar Apostolic of Bondo .

Life

Frédéric Marie Blessing joined the Congregation of the Order of the Holy Cross at and received on 2 June 1917, the sacrament of Holy Orders . On January 9, 1930, Pope Pius XI appointed him . for the first Apostolic Prefect of Bondo.

On December 2, 1937, Frédéric Marie Blessing became the first Vicar Apostolic of Bondo and Pius XI as a result of the elevation of the Apostolic Prefecture of Bondo to the Apostolic Vicariate. appointed him titular bishop of Thois . The Apostolic Delegate in the Belgian Congo , Archbishop Giovanni Battista Dellepiane , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19, 1938 ; Co-consecrators were the Vicar Apostolic of Niangara , Robert Constant Lagae OP , and the Vicar Apostolic of Buta , Charles Alphonse Armand Vanuytven OPraem .

Frédéric Marie Blessing resigned as Vicar Apostolic of Bondo in October 1954.
