Plouguenast-Langast is a French commune with 2,487 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Brieuc and the canton of Mûr-de-Bretagne .

It was created with effect from January 1, 2019 as Commune nouvelle by merging the former municipalities of Plouguenast and Langast , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Plouguenast.

location

The municipality is located around 80 kilometers (as the crow flies) west-northwest of Rennes . The area is crossed by the Lié River. Neighboring municipalities are: Plémy in the north, Plessala in the east, La Motte in the south, Gausson in the west and Plœuc-sur-Lié in the north-west.
