Tramain ( Breton : Tremaen , Gallo : Tramaen ) is a municipality in France with 694 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in Brittany and belongs to the Côtes-d'Armor department . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Brieuc and the canton of Plénée-Jugon (until 2015: canton of Jugon-les-Lacs ). The inhabitants are called Traminois .

Tramain is about 29 kilometers east-southeast of Saint-Brieuc . Tramain is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Plestan in the north, Jugon-les-Lacs - Commune nouvelle in the east and Plénée-Jugon in the south. Route nationale 12 and - along the northern border - route nationale 176 run through the municipality .
