Pordic is a French commune with 7,167 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Brieuc and the canton of Plérin . The residents call themselves Pordicais (e) .
It was created as the Commune nouvelle of the same name on January 1, 2016 by merging the previous municipalities of Pordic and Tréméloir , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Pordic.

geography
The municipality is located about eight kilometers north-northwest of Saint-Brieuc and borders the English Channel in the east in the Gulf of Saint-Malo . Pordic is surrounded by the suburbs Binic-Étables-sur-Mer in the north, Plérin in the south, Trémuson in the southwest and Trégomeur in the west and Lantic in the northwest.
Saint Brieuc – Armor Airport is located in the southwest .
