Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul church

Plouguenast ( Breton : Plougonwaz ) is a village and a former French commune with 1,852 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belonged to the arrondissement of Saint-Brieuc and the canton of Mûr-de-Bretagne .

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Plouguenast and Langast were merged to form Commune nouvelle Plouguenast-Langast and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Plouguenast.

Plouguenast is 35 kilometers south of Saint-Brieuc on the Lié river .
