The apartment house Edmund-Weber-Straße 72 in Röhlinghausen , a district of Herne is under monument protection standing monument . Originally it served as the BoGeStra administration building .

The villa-like building on the north side of Edmund-Weber-Straße, in the section between Hordeler Straße and Volksgarten, was built in 1907. The architect who designed it is unknown. At the rear there was a BoGeStra depot until the 1900s .

The two-storey, neoclassical plastered building with four to three axes is closed at the top with a mansard roof. The property comprises around 830 m², of which around 270 are built over by the detached house on all sides. In the course of the renovation as a result of the conversion to a residential building, the complex was divided into six completed condominiums in 1995 . A retirement home was set up on the site of the former depot (Zur-Nieden-Strasse 1 a – d).

The entry of the Edmund-Weber-Straße 72 building into the list of monuments of the city of Herne took place on June 8, 1995 (monument no. A 597).
