The house Edmund-Weber-Straße 237 in Röhlinghausen , a district of Herne is under monument protection standing monument . The house on the south side of Edmund-Weber- Strasse in the section between Hofstrasse and Stratmannsweg was built in the early years of the 20th century. The designing architect is not known.

The villa-like two-storey town house with its gable floor stands with its front directly in the street line and protrudes about a meter into it with its ground-floor bay window . Originally, the houses in Edmund-Weber-Strasse had a six-meter-deep front garden , which was omitted when the street was widened. The approximately 860 m² property is covered by around 263 m² by the one-sided attached house including extensions. The villa itself takes up almost 169 m², and a winter garden and a single-storey extension have recently been added to the rear . During the entrance on the west side of the house is in the Hofzufahrt, the street front of the falls triaxial house by her in the floors of a differently designed connecting brick - (ground floor) and plaster facade on (upstairs). The central risalit -like axis is used to create a special accentuation , by adding the bay window on the ground floor (corresponding to a balcony on the upper floor) and the gable on the top floor. There are dormers with half-timbered inlay on both sides . While arched windows are used on the ground floor , these are right-angled tall windows arranged in pairs on the upper floor.

The building Edmund-Weber-Straße 237 was entered in the list of monuments of the city of Herne on June 21, 1988 (monument no. A 54).
