Edmund Carl Julius Kruger
Edmund Carl Julius Krüger (born May 28, 1836 Dorpat ; † February 24, 1909 Mitau ) was a Baltic German educator and archaeologist.

Krüger's father was the Baltic German painter Woldemar Friedrich Krüger .
activities
Krüger studied in Dorpat, taught as a teacher in Riga from 1859 to 1861, then in Mitau. From 1863 until his death he was a member of the Courland Society of Literature and Art and from 1897 until his death a member of the Courland Provincial Museum. He took part in various expeditions and led z. B. on April 14, 1866 together with August Bielenstein , Ernst August von Raison , Julius Döring , and other excavations in Tērvete (Hofzumberge) and Svētais kalns (Heiligenberg).
