Edmund Michael
Edmund August Michael (born July 30, 1849 Oberfriedersdorf ( Lausitz ); † October 23, 1920 in Auerbach / Vogtl. ) Was a Saxon , German teacher and mushroom expert .
Life
Edmund Michael was a senior teacher at the agricultural school in Auerbach. In 1895 his guide for mushroom friends appeared for the first time with illustrations by the painter Albin Schmalfuß from Leipzig , who appeared in six editions and three volumes until his death and made him known as the mushroom father .
