Edmund Schallenberg
Johann Edmund Schallenberg (born October 11, 1913 in New York City , † March 28, 1999 in Blacksburg , Virginia ) was an American handball player of German descent.
life and career
Schallenberg belonged to the German Sport Club from Brooklyn at club level . With the US national team he took part in the Olympic field handball tournament in 1936 and was used in all three games against Hungary (2: 7), Germany (1:29) and Romania (3:10).
