Edmund Stadler (born October 10, 1908 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † July 30, 1979 there ) was a German middle-distance runner .

Life

Edmund Stadler won the bronze medal at the German Athletics Championships in 1934 over 1500 m. Two years later he took part in the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin . In the competition over 5000 m he was eliminated in the preliminary run. At the German Athletics Championships in 1937 he was able to win another medal, this time the silver one. In 1938 he was part of the 4 x 1500 m relay, which set a new German record.
