Eduard Friedrich Alberti (born August 17, 1798 in Syrau , † November 5, 1883 in Gera ) was a German judge and politician.

Eduard Alberti was the son of the pastor in Syrau Benjamin Traugott Alberti and his wife Dorothea Gottliebe neeidhard. Alberti, who was a Protestant-Lutheran denomination, married Sophia Maria Christina Simonis (born April 21, 1797 in Lüssow; † October 7, 1876 in Gera), the daughter of the pastor in Lüssow Johann Jacob Simonis , on August 21, 1829 in Lüssow .

Life

Eduard Alberti attended the grammar school in Plauen until 1817 and studied political science and law at the University of Jena from 1817 to 1820 (where he also met Johann Wolfgang von Goethe ). During his studies he became a member of the original fraternity in 1817 . In 1820 he passed his first state examination in Leipzig and was then an actuary in Hohenleuben . In 1826 he moved to the Reuss-Köstritzer Paragium as a judicial administrator . From 1833 to 1849 he was court director and judicial officer with the title of councilor at the Reichenfels administration based in Hohenleuben. After the unification of the principalities of Reuss younger line , he was bailiff at the Hohenleuben office until September 30, 1868, and since July 1, 1863 board member. On January 24, 1850 he acquired the Gera citizenship. On July 1, 1868, he retired at his own request.

Alberti, who represented liberal positions, was a member of the estates of the Principality of Reuss older line from 1849 to 1867 . After the March Revolution , from 1849 to 1851, he was one of the three old-class representatives in the Reuss senior line in the regional council.

On January 31, 1850, he was unanimously elected by the 78 electors of the Reuss principalities in the constituency of the two principalities as a member of the People's House of the Erfurt Union Parliament.

From November 2, 1848 to December 21, 1849 (with the mandate suspended from October 4, 1848 to August 26, 1849) and again from November 10, 1851 to June 17, 1854, he was a junior member of the Reuss state parliament . In this state parliament he was from November 12, 1851 to December 11, and again from September 28, 1853 to November 4, 1853, Deputy President of the State Parliament and from February 12 to June 18, 1852 President of the State Parliament.

Honors

Alberti held the title of Judicial Councilor from 1855 and from 1868 a secret Councilor of Justice . In 1864 he received the Princely Golden Cross of Honor and the Princely Civil Cross of Honor 1st Class. In 1858 he was honored with the civil cross of honor Reuss older line.
