Eduard Angele

Eduard Angele (born December 10, 1951 in Ummendorf ) is a former German soccer player who was active in the Bundesliga for Arminia Bielefeld .

Career

The defender began his career with the Upper Swabian amateur league club TSV Ummendorf . At the age of 18 he began his training at the State Police School in Westphalia. The technically adept and dynamic soccer player signed his first contract with the national league club Eintracht Heessen . After three years and promotion to the league , he moved to DJK Gütersloh in 1974 , where he stayed for two years.

The big neighbor Arminia Bielefeld put together a powerful team at that time in order to be promoted to the first Bundesliga. Angele was one of the newcomers in the 1976/77 season . Just one year later , the company was promoted. Until 1981 Angele played with the Ostwestfalen in the Bundesliga and came to 50 games in which he scored a goal. There are also a total of 128 second division games in which he scored a total of four goals for Gütersloh and Bielefeld.

At the end of his sporting career, he returned to Eintracht Heessen as an amateur from 1982 to 1984, with whom he narrowly missed promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga as the league champion in 1983 .

In addition, Angele was used for many years in the national police selection and was also European champion with this team.

Today Angele is a police officer in Bielefeld.
