Eduard Ellman-Eelma

Eduard Ellman-Eelma (born April 7, 1902 in Saint Petersburg , † November 16, 1941 in Kirov ) was an Estonian football player of the interwar period. He played 58 times for the Estonian soccer team and scored 21 goals. This Estonian goal record was only broken in 2002 by Indrek Zelinski . Ellman-Eelma made his debut against Sweden on July 23, 1921. He played with the national team at the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris . For most of his career he played for Tallinna JK . Until 1935 he remained in the national team of Estonia.

Ellman-Eelma was arrested in Tallinn in June 1941, sentenced to death, and died in a Kirov prison in November of the same year.
