Eduard Franke
Eduard August Hermann Franke (pseudonyms: Ladislaus Franek, Soliman Narfek) (born May 28, 1815 in Altenburg ; † June 21, 1894 ibid) was a German teacher , pastor and poet .
Life
Born as the son of a citizen and room painter, Franke studied Protestant theology in Jena after attending grammar school in Altenburg . During his studies in 1836 he became a member of the Jena fraternity and the Academic Choral Society .
After completing his studies, he headed two private schools in Altenburg. In 1847 he was in Altenburg ordained . He became vicar in 1847 and pastor in 1849 in Oberlödla near Altenburg. In 1872 he became pastor in Zschernitzsch near Altenburg. In 1889 Franke retired.
