Eduard Fuchs (born September 27, 1844 in Quadrath , † January 27, 1923 in Cologne ) was a German businessman, politician and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Fuchs attended the grammar schools in Marzelle from 1855 to 1858 and Aposteln from 1859 to 1861 up to the lower prima. From 1865 he was established as a businessman in Cologne. He took part in the wars of 1866 and 1870/1871 and was a lieutenant in the reserve. From 1876 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives , from 1876 to 1882 for Bernkastel-Wittlich and from 1882 to 1908 for the urban district of Cologne.

From 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency administrative district Arnsberg  5 ( Bochum , Gelsenkirchen , Hattingen , Herne ) and the German Center Party . Between 1903 and 1907 he represented the constituency of Ottweiler-St. Wendel.
