Eduard Harald Schrack

Eduard Harald Schrack (born April 3, 1930 in Vienna ; † January 24, 2015 in Kitzbühel ) was an Austrian industrialist.

Life

The son of Eduard Schrack and Wilhelmine, b. Kafka studied physics in Vienna and joined his father's company in 1952, Schrack Elektrizitäts AG . He married Eva Scholz. From 1962 he was a member of the board and 1973–1991 chairman of the board. In 1978 he resumed the collaboration with Ericsson that had temporarily ended in 1948 .

The EH Schrack Components AG was Europe's largest manufacturer of PCB Relay.

In 1994 he withdrew from the company and sold it to Ericsson AG Austria.

criticism

In 1981 the company was embroiled in a kickback scandal. Eduard Harald Schrack was accused of having paid substantial sums of money through an employee in order to get orders for the hospital expansion of the General Hospital in Vienna .
