Eduard Heinel (painter)
Eduard Heinel (* 1835 in Munich ; † 14 May 1895 ibid) was a German genre and landscape painter, son of Johann Philipp Heinel (* 21 October 1800 in Bayreuth; † 29 July 1843 in Munich).
Heinel lost his father when he was eight. He studied from October 30, 1852 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich .
Heinel first painted happy scenes from Bavarian folk life, later he visited Greece (1873) and Italy (1880 and 1890) on study trips .
