Eduard Majsch (also Maisch, born October 10, 1841 in Pressburg , † May 31, 1904 ibid) was an Austrian painter of Slovak descent.

Eduard Majsch studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 1864 to 1869 under Carl Wurzinger and from 1870 to 1874 history painting under Eduard von Engerth . After graduating, he went on a study trip to Italy and France.

From 1880 he worked in Pressburg, where he opened a private painting school. Majsch was co-founder and deputy chairman of the Pressburger Kunstverein. He showed his works at the art exhibitions in Pressburg, Vienna, Prague and Leipzig. His works were influenced by painting from the Renaissance and Baroque periods , and the influence of Art Nouveau is also noticeable in the later paintings .

Eduard Majsch was buried in the Andreas Cemetery in Bratislava .
