Eduard Naef-Blumer (* 1866 ; † 1934 ) was a supporter of alpinism and non-fiction author.

Life

Naef-Blumer, who holds a doctorate, published the Club Guide through the Glarner Alps in December 1902 , which was the first edition of the series of club guides for the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC), which had been published 10 times in over 100 years and thus became the standard work for this region of Switzerland has become. Because of his services to the promotion of tourism, he became an honorary member of the SAC sections Tödi and Winterthur .

Honors

The Winterthur section of the SAC erected a memorial plaque for Eduard Naef-Blumer at the Muttseehütte .
