Eduard Nehm

Eduard Nehm (born November 12, 1908 ; † 1974 ) was a German lawyer.

Life

After completing his studies at the University of Kiel, Nehm became a Dr. jur. PhD . During the Nazi era , Nehm had been a member of the NSDAP since May 1933 . After the beginning of the Second World War he was drafted into the Wehrmacht . In 1943 he was appointed the first public prosecutor in Hamm , but he did not take office.

After the end of the war he was first public prosecutor from 1947 and from 1949 first public prosecutor in Flensburg . In 1954 he was appointed senior public prosecutor to the General Public Prosecutor and also his representative. From 1961 to 1973 he was Attorney General of the State of Schleswig-Holstein . He was also involved in the Heyde / Sawade investigation .

He was the father of Attorney General Kay Nehm .
