Eduard Ohlinger
Eduard Ohlinger (born May 20, 1967 in Haßloch ; † December 13, 2004 there ) was a German weightlifter and Olympian.
Ohlinger was German youth champion several times for AC Mutterstadt , TSV Regen and AC Soest . He became known in 1988 for his sixth place in the duel of the then heavyweight up to 110 kg at the Summer Olympics in Seoul .
Eduard Ohlinger, married and father of four children, was most recently active for the upper division KSV 1884 Mannheim . He died on December 13, 2004 at the age of 37 of complications from a heart attack . Two days before his death, Ohlinger went to the dumbbell for his club .
