Eduardo Fornarini

Eduardo Fornarini (* 1887 in Parma ; † 1967 ) was an Italian music teacher and composer.

Fornarini studied at the Parma Conservatory. Around 1900 he came to Argentina, where he lived until 1920. That year he returned to Italy and became a répétiteur at the Teatro alla Scala . He was active as a violinist, pianist and occasionally also a conductor, but became particularly important as a composition and counterpoint teacher. Major Argentine composers such as José María Castro , Juan José Castro , Luis Gianneo and Juan Carlos Paz were among his students .
