Edvardas Žakaris

Edvardas Žakaris (born May 25, 1952 in Pagėgiai , Klaipėda region ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1971 at the 1st secondary school in Kelmė , he studied industrial engineering at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in 1985 and graduated from the Šiaulių pedagoginis institutas in 1988 and became a Tiflo pedagogue. From 1973 to 1983 he was a teacher in Kelmė, from 1987 to 1990 deputy in the council of Kelmė district and from 1990 to 1995 deputy in the council of Šiauliai municipality . He has been a member of the Seima since 2004 .
