Edward "Ed" Solon Hagedorn (born October 12, 1946 in Parañaque ) is a Filipino politician and was mayor of Puerto Princesa from 1992 to 2001 and from 2002 to 2013 .

Hagedorn attended St. Andrew's School in Parañaque and San Sebastian College - Recoletos in Manila . This was followed by studies at the University of the East in Manila. He was first elected Mayor of Puerto Princesa in 1992 and took office on July 1. In the 2001 elections, he was constitutionally unable to run for another term. He was succeeded by Victorino Dennis M. Socrates. However, following a constitutional amendment to the Supreme Court , he won early elections in 2002 and remained in office from November 12, 2002 to June 30, 2013. His successor was Lucilo Rodriguez Bayron's second mayor.

His parents were the German-born Alexander Hagedorn and Gliceria Solon. Hagedorn is married to Maria Elena "Ellen" Marcelo Hagedorn and has two children, Eva Christie S. Hagedorn and Elroy John S. Hagedorn. Ellen Hagedorn and her nephew, Mark David Morato Hagedorn, ran for the office of Mayor and Vice Mayor of Puerto Princesa in May 2013, but could not win a seat. Mark Hagedorn's father and Edward Hagedorn's brother, Douglas S. Hagedorn, were first elected to the House of Representatives for Palawan's Third Congressional District in 2013 .
