Career
In 2016 and again in April 2017 (2:13:45 hrs), the Kenyan won the Bonn Marathon .
In June 2017, he won the Mannheim Marathon in a new record time of 2:15:54 h .
At the Vienna City Marathon he finished ninth in 2:16:57 h in April 2018. In September 2019, Edwin Kosgei won the Kassel Marathon for the third time after 2016 and 2018 in 2:12:37 h with a personal best and a new course record.
