Eero Kuusinen (* 1953 ) is a former Finnish ski jumper and today's ski jumping official.

Career

Kuusinen started skiing at an early age and jumped nationally until 1978. After he ended his active ski jumping career, he remained loyal to ski jumping as an official. In addition to his work as a district salesman for the Onninen company, he began working as a jumping judge in 1980. In 1989, Kuusinen became director of the jumping competitions in Lahti . In 1995 he got the international FIS license.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 2001 , he again took over the post of competition director of the jumping competitions.

At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , he was a member of the six-person team of judges and ended up with a total of eight appearances. In the 2006/07 World Cup season , he and his assistant Johann Pichler from SC Bischofshofen led the World Cup competitions in Willingen and was also part of the jury there. In the 2007/08 season he was director of jumping in Kuopio .

At the Ski Flying World Championships 2014 in Harrachov he was Technical Delegate of the FIS. A little later in Oslo when jumping on the Holmenkollbakken he was again active as a jury member.
