Efstathios Kiourkenidis ( Greek Ευστάθιος Κιουρκενίδης , born December 3, 1990 in Drama ) is a Greek biathlete .
Efstathios Kiourkenidis lives and trains in drama. The student from EOS Dramas has been practicing his sport since 2002 and has been a member of the Greek national team since 2005. He has been competing internationally since 2006, he contested his first race as part of the Junior European Cup, shortly afterwards he switched to the Biathlon European Cup . At the 2007 Junior World Championships in Martell , Kiourkenidis was 47th in the individual, 22nd in the sprint and 52nd in the pursuit. In the following year he could not qualify for the pursuit race as 68th at the Junior World Championships in Ruhpolding , but finished in the individual with 19th place a very good placement for Greek standards.
