Efthimios Kompodietas (born February 3, 1965 ) is a German football coach and former football player of Greek descent.

Career

Kompodietas was born in Greece and later moved to Bielefeld with his family . There he began his career at VfB 03 Bielefeld and moved to Arminia Bielefeld in 1980 . From 1983 and 1985 he was a midfielder in the squad of the first team in Bielefeld, which played in the Bundesliga at the time . He made his Bundesliga debut on August 13, 1983 in a 3-2 victory for Arminia at 1. FC Köln . In total, he played four Bundesliga games and three Intertoto Cup games for Bielefeld, who were relegated from the Bundesliga in 1985. Nothing is known about his further football career.

Today he runs the INJOY Bielefeld fitness center in the Sennestadt district of Bielefeld . Kompodietas also works as a kinesiologist and is the owner of the Brain Activity company . In his activity as a kinesiologist, he has already worked with the German national team , players from Arminia Bielefeld and other Bundesliga professionals such as Manuel Neuer and Marc Ziegler . In January 2014 Kompodietas returned to Arminia Bielefeld and took over the post of assistant coach of the professional team. He resigned from this post at the end of November 2015. For the 2016/17 season , Kompodietas became “assistant coach for special training tasks” at Bundesliga club SV Darmstadt 98 .
