The Eggemuseum is a museum in Altenbeken ( North Rhine-Westphalia ), in which mainly exhibits are shown from the time when iron extraction and processing was important in Altenbeken. In particular, artistic ovens and stove and stove tops from the 16th to 19th centuries are on display. In addition, the Eggemuseum, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the Altenbeken monument locomotive, is home to a restaurant.

In addition, the Eggemuseum has made a name for itself as a cabaret and attracts visitors from the Paderborn district and neighboring areas to the individual events.

Some well-known artists known from TV programs regularly use this stage to give their program the “finishing touch” in a kind of “dress rehearsal” before a tour. In 2007, artists such as Martina Schwarzmann , Rainald Grebe , Gabi Köster , Wiglaf Droste , Volker Pispers , Fatih Çevikkollu and Paul Millns performed , organized by the “Kulturbüro OWL”. The West German Broadcasting Corporation also frequently records programs here.
