Egmont von Brünneck

Heinrich Magnus Egmont von Brünneck (born December 19, 1842 in Bellschwitz , † March 22, 1916 ) was a German administrative and court official.

Life

Egmont von Brünneck was born as the son of the manor owner, district administrator and parliamentarian Siegfried von Brünneck-Bellschwitz and Johanna geb. of beautiful. After attending the old town high school in Königsberg, he studied law and camera science at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1863 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn like his older brother Roland von Brünneck-Bellschwitz . In 1865 he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD. After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1876 he was bailiff of the Hanover district , from 1885 to 1904 first district administrator of the newly founded district of Hanover .

Von Brünneck was a member of the Provincial Committee of the Province of Hanover , Royal Chamberlain and Honorary Commander and Secretary of the Order of St. John . He took part in the German War and the Franco-German War . In September 1870 he was wounded at Milly's. He was married to Hyma von Krosigk.
