Egon Fein

Egon Fein (born May 2, 1928 in Nuremberg , † December 4, 2006 in Munich ) was a journalist and book author.

In the early 1950s he started working for the Nürnberger Nachrichten as a police reporter. His wife Traute, b. Klausnitzer, was a roller skater for 1. FC Nürnberg. 1957–1960 they emigrated to Baltimore and then moved to Munich, where he worked his way up to become editor-in-chief of Quick at BauerVerlag. From the late 1980s he worked as a freelance writer. He was connected to the TKKG children's books. Later he devoted himself to the recent history of his Franconian homeland .
