Egon Matt (politician)
Egon Matt (born April 23, 1952 in Mauren ) is a Liechtenstein politician on the Free List .
biography
After attending grammar school in Vaduz , Matt studied medicine at the University of Basel . From 1978 worked as an assistant doctor in various hospitals , including 1983/84 in Sierra Leone . He has been running a general practice in Mauren since 1988. In the legislative period from 1997 to 2001, Matt was a member of the Liechtenstein state parliament . From 2005 he served together with Claudia Heeb-Fleck as President of the Free List, which was the first time in the history of the party as a double head. In June 2009, Matt and Heeb-Fleck were replaced by Wolfgang Marxer .
Matt is married and has four children.
