In 1899, a representative Wilhelminian style villa was built on the site - as a residential building for the director of the city tram - according to plans by the city architect Stephan Braden .
The building has a tower with a slate roof, half-timbered decorations and a coat of arms in the east gable .
In 1912 HEAG took over the tram depot and the Wilhelminian style villa.
