Norbert Blecha (born September 22, 1950 in Vienna , Austria) is an Austrian film producer , actor and stuntman .

life and work

Norbert Blecha was born in Vienna in 1950, the first child of Ernestine and Josef Blecha. He attended the secondary school in the 18th district and began to learn to be a mechanic in his parents' company.

Blecha developed a passion for speed and risk early on, which was reflected in Formula Ford, Formula SuperV, Formula 3, circuits and hill climbs as well as hang gliding and ultimately in the stunt area.

Through his friendship with Ursula Andress , Blecha took part in the filming of Das eiserne Kreuz in 1977 in Vienna , where his film career began as a stuntman and actor.

In 1984 he returned to Europe, founded Terrafilm and began his second career as a producer.

His first international success as a sole producer was the drama Requiem for Dominic , directed by his childhood friend Robert Dornhelm .

In 2015, in Beijing, in the presence of Federal President Heinz Fischer and President Xi Jinping , Blecha signed a framework agreement for the Austrian-Chinese co-production of several films.
