Ehren McGhehey (born November 29, 1976 in McMinnville , Oregon ) is an American stuntman and actor . He was best known through the MTV- produced series Jackass . He starred in all three Jackass movies , among others .

biography

Ehren McGhehey, also known by the nickname Danger Ehren , was born into a family of undertakers . He started skateboarding when he was twelve and snowboarding when he was fifteen . After finding his first snowboard sponsors at eighteen, he sustained serious injuries in an accident. While he was recovering from this, he worked at a skateboard shop in Portland, where he had short clips of stunts he performed recorded and distributed. This is how director Jeff Tremaine became aware of him and brought him to the main team of the controversial show Jackass , where he stayed for all three seasons and three movies. He is also known for his motto “Safety first!” (German: “Safety first!”), Which he recites before many of his stunts.

In 2005, he also opened a skateboard shop in McMinnville , which he closed again in July 2014. At the moment he is also working as a photographer and runs a website for this purpose. He lives in Portland today .
