content
In Jackass , stunts and pranks were shown by various actors. The protagonists also had to pass disgusting tests of courage or consciously put themselves into life-threatening situations. The actors, all stunt professionals according to the disclaimer, mostly come from the skateboarding scene , which was always underlined during the broadcasts. At first, Johnny Knoxville tried self-defense devices such as tasers , pepper spray and stun guns on himself.
At the beginning, the skater magazine Big Brother Magazine supported the Jackass team with their ideas, which were then further developed by MTV. Musically, most of the programs were accompanied by genre-typical punk rock music. Was presented Jackass in a classic style MTV typical productions as infotainment program with satirical content. The title melody comes from the song Corona by the band Minutemen .
