Ehrtfried Boehm

Ehrtfried Böhm (born August 24, 1920 in Oldentrup ; † June 14, 1976 in Hanover ) was an author and German politician ( FDP ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Böhm attended a humanistic grammar school and then began his own literary studies. He took up his work as a writer, but was drafted into military service as a combatant in World War II as an air officer between 1940 and 1945 . Böhm has been politically active in the FDP since 1946 and was the first chairman of the Young Democrats in the Lower Saxony State Association as well as a member of the Federal Advisory Council of the German Young Democrats.

At the end of 1947 he became general manager of the Lower Saxony state association in the FDP and became a member of the first electoral term of the Lower Saxony state parliament from April 20, 1947 to April 30, 1951 for his party.
