Eicke Bettinga

Eicke Bettinga (born September 13, 1978 in Aurich ) is a German film director and screenwriter .

life and work

Eicke Bettinga studied film directing at the renowned National Film and Television School (NFTS) in Great Britain. He completed his studies with a Master of Arts . He made numerous short films and commercials , as well as documentaries and two fictional television plays . He also wrote a number of plays . He was invited to the Cannes International Film Festival with the short films Shearing (2002), Together (2009) and GASP (2012) . From 2017 to 2019 he was a member of the jury of the German Short Film Award .

Eicke Bettinga is active in Germany and Great Britain and is currently working on various feature film projects.
